I've always loved pork and apples together, and this recipe combines them nicely to create a comforting main dish. During the scenic trip, nancy serves honey fried chicken, cobb salad, chocolate chip icebox cake, frozen lemonade, sweet and salty conductor corn. Chill the pie for a few minutes.
I did bake the pies 50 to 55 minutes until a knife inserted near the center came out clean.
This recipe is a wonderful combination of pumpkinand apple pie! Place pumpkin in large bowl and mix on medium for a couple of minutes. Roll out the top crust to a diameter of 12 inches. For 2 single crust pies, place each shell into 2 pie pans, add filling and bake as directed on pie filling recipe.
